STAGE
Stage size will be determined per venue. We will use as much stage surface area as
possible based upon the stage/proscenium configuration. Stage floor should be
clean, free of nails or other protrusions, swept and mopped prior to the arrival of
BravO! National Dance & Talent Competition personnel each day. A Harlequin or
Marley type sprung dance floor will be utilized and supplied by BravO!, unless
otherwise arranged. The dimensions of such dance floor are 40’ x 26’ and Marley
and/or Gaffers tape will be used to secure the floor to the stage surface. BravO!
will not be held responsible for any pre-existing or final finish problems to the
stage.

MASKING AND DRAPERIES
The stage will require a minimum of 3 adjustable parallel wings per side quartering
the depth of the stage. BravO! National Dance & Talent Competition will
determine the exposure of the wings based on stage and backstage area. One
BravO! backdrop, 25 ft. height x 50 ft. width, will be hung from the upstage most
available batten. It is secured using opera ties, carries fire code certification, and
has an overall weight of 150 lbs. If this cannot be accommodated, one full white or
light blue cyclorama/scrim will be provided upstage allowing adequate crossover
passage for performers between the cyclorama/scrim and upstage wall; if one
cyclorama/scrim is unavailable a full black curtain will be sufficient.

DRESSING, HOSPITALITY, AND VIP ROOMS
BravO! National Dance & Talent Competition will require dressing rooms with no
windows (number of rooms will be considered “on demand” and based on entry
interest to be determined 21 days from event) and restroom accessibility as
requested for each event. Two hospitality/green rooms will be provided back
stage, again with immediate access to restrooms.

HEATING AND COOLING
The stage area and dressing rooms must maintain a comfortable operating
temperature of a suggested 72 degrees Fahrenheit, at least 3 hours prior to and for
the duration of the entire event.

MAINTENANCE
The operators of the venue must ensure that the cleaning and daily maintenance of
the facility is properly executed prior to the arrival of BravO! National Dance &
Talent Competition personnel and patrons. This is to include sufficient amounts of
clean, empty, lined trash/recycling receptacles in all common areas, theater
entrances, backstage, and dressing/VIP rooms.

SECURITY
Any security the venue deems necessary will be provided by the venue to ensure
the safety of all patrons and BravO! National Dance & Competition personnel.
Security personnel will also be in charge of seeing that patrons adhere to all
policies of said venue and BravO! National Dance & Talent Competition. Access
to the facility should be available one half-hour prior to the predetermined load-in
time and one hour prior to show time on each day. Theater access for audience
members should be available one half-hour prior to show time on each day.

and/or merchandise to the venue (and would reserve the right) in advance of our
